Privacy Policy

Overview

Mytess is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app functions as a client that connects directly to your self-hosted TeslaMate instance. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your vehicle data to our servers.

Data Collection

What we don't collect:

• Vehicle location, trips, or driving data
• Charging records or energy consumption
• Personal information or Tesla account details
• API credentials or server addresses

What we may collect:

• Anonymous crash reports (if enabled) to improve app stability
• Basic app usage analytics through Apple's App Analytics

Local Storage

All your Tesla data remains on your own TeslaMate server. The app stores your API configuration locally on your device using iOS secure storage. This includes:

• Server URL and authentication credentials
• App preferences and settings
• Cached data for offline viewing

Data Retention

Since we don't store any of your data on our servers, there is nothing to retain or delete. Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored data from your device.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
